Foot Solutions Receives Highest Level of Accreditation
FOOT SOLUTIONS of Estero and Cape Coral receive highest level of accreditation achievable in the profession of orthotics, prosthetics and pedorthics
(Estero,Cape Coral, FL) People, who seek expert help with their footwear, including diabetics and others with specific foot, ankle, knee and back issues, can feel comfortable turning to Foot Solutions Estero and Cape Coral as the facilities has been awarded accreditation in orthotics and pedorthics by the Board of Certification/Accreditation, International. (BOC). BOC’s facility accreditation program is designed to meet the rigorous standards necessary to provide care with appropriate safeguards to patients and prescribers.

FOOT SOLUTIONS has been offering pedorthic services including footwear, special footwear, and custom arch supports in the southwest Florida area since 2006. FOOT SOLUTIONS see’s a broad spectrum of age groups, from 3 year old children to 90 year old arthritic patients. FOOT SOLUTIONS of Estero and Cape Coral are also a members of the Pedorthic Footwear Association (PFA), American Diabetic Association (ADA) and the International Council for Active Aging (ICAA)and have worked with charities like Soles 4 Souls and local ADA fundraisers.
BOC is an independent, not-for-profit agency that accredits Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics and Orthotics Supplies (DMEPOS) facilities and certifies orthotists, prosthetists, pedorthists, orthotic and mastectomy fitters. Founded in 1984, BOC is dedicated to promote standards of excellence and competence to assure patients, caregivers and physicians that they will receive professional service.
BOC Facility Accreditation standards, inclusive of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Quality Standards and National Supplier Standards, were developed to assure the public of the availability of comprehensive orthotic/prosthetic and DME/HME services, consistent with federal, state and local laws and regulations. DMEPOS facility accreditation, is provided under the deemed authority granted to the BOC, as an Accrediting Organization awarded by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
